Whether it is fielding a phone call to solve a problem for a current clients, or talking through a potential client about a new website, Web application or Rich Internet Application, Ms. Wilson is on the frontlines of Webability solutions. Webability Trends sat down with Ms. Wilson to get her take on the trends she sees developing on the Webability solutions frontier.

Webability Trends: What are most people calling about these days?

Daphne Wilson: Flash websites are big, and many customers who call are very impressed by Flash websites that are on the portfolio section of the Azavar website, and are impressed with the Azavar website and want the same thing. Website redesigns are also big. I think people are getting the importance of having a good, professional website to help attract the type of business they want.

WT: Do you think it is important to have a professional website?

DW: Of course! You website is your business, and if you want your business to be professional you need a professional website. You need Webability to get ahead.

WT: What do you think makes a professional website?

DW: Since I’ve been working here, I’ve learned that it is not just a pretty picture. Professional websites have to communicate. I’ve seen websites that have gorgeous pictures but I can’t figure out what they are trying to communicate, nor can I find what I want! That’s bad. You lose customers. So you need a professional website that is easy to find, easy to maneuver, navigate and clearly communicates what it is. If it’s about shoes, great, I want to know that by just looking at it, not hunting for it.

WT: Spoken like a veteran eCommerce shopper.

DW: [laugh] It works the same for employees too. Websites need to be just as easy to browse for employees to find information too.

WT: So how do customers find Azavar?

DW: They use the Web.

WT: [laughs] Right. But is it through search engines? Emails? Blogs? What?

DW: Most of the time it is search engines, like Google and Yahoo. They are looking for a Webability company, a professional company that has a good track record and can give them what they want. I think it is a testament to Azavar’s skill as a website design company that people find us on the Web. Not only that, but like what they see and want to know how they can get it too. There is so much that goes into good, professional websites and bringing Webability to all types of businesses.

WT: Really. Like what?

DW: There is the creation, the organization, the design, the content, the coding. So many aspects people don’t think about and it is very exciting to see the inner workings and watch a website move from concept to website.

WT: What do you think the next trend is?

DW: Marketing. I’m getting calls about marketing, and email campaigns. People realize the importance of a professional website, and once they have one they want to know how to get it out there, how to get people to it, which is why they call us. Part of providing Webability solutions is using all parts of the Web, A website is just one part.

WT: And what is the best thing about working at Azavar?

DW: Brigning Webability to customers, helping customers get what they want and hearing all the great things they have to say about design and development team and hearing the great things the potential customers have to say about our website. People find it very informative.
